Again? Didn't everyone with a brain cell think colonial marines looked like shit from day 0?

Difference here? This actually looks good.

I really want this game to be good, but A:CM really have taken the hype from me for this game.

Apparently this is a survival horror without a "fire" button...

Why? Different film used for inspiration. Different developer. Different genre. It'd be like being worried about halo 5 just because spartan assault wasn't very good.

Can't wait to play this on PS4.

The Alien in that last shot looks terrifying!! Hopefully the movement doesn't end up looking too... lanky.

Defiantly hope to have a new system in time for this game.

For a cross gen developed game, this looks outstanding. That bodes well for how games will eventually look once the previous gen gets out of the dev loop for most games.

Eh, it looks like a thing. Keep in mind that the property in question has had a lot of rough patches lately. One game isn't enough to completely spoil pubic perception, but a few certainly did hte trick.

I disagree. I hate horror games like that. It's flight or fight, when you remove one you just end up frustrating the player. I don't need the combat to be conventional, but at least giving me the option to smack a wrench or spray bullets or SOMETHING in the general direction of the terrifying creature trying to get me is so much better than "oh no, time to hold W..." I think the occasional game does fine with no combat, but I think the focus on horror games with absolutely no self defence mechanics is actually a bad thing. I'm fine with combat being very sparse and particular, but every "no combat" horror game I've played has had stupid, frustrating, or uninteresting moments because all I could do was run away.

As far as I know there should be some form of combat also in this game, so it's not only running away from the alien.

This looks pretty and I can see a great deal of potential in this title. I certainly hope CA succeeds.

My most anticipated game along with Uncharted 3. The graphics is just unbelievable! Alien model is top! But still missing some drooling. :-)

Along with Uncharted 3? you do know it has been out for some time now right? :)

and yet non have been based on the first, horror themed movie. it's always the action fest second movie that gets the game developer attention, and they've pretty much all sucked.

I could imagine a flamethrower being used to keep the Alien back. With a limited fuel tank & constantly having to check your back, it could make for some pretty tense game-play that doesn't just involve running & hiding.

You already know what games on PS4 and Xbox One will look like.

Do people think it was the setting or something? Bad games are bad games. We already know good games can exist in that same exact scenario. They already do!

Not entirely. We've a rough idea, but I don't think we've really seen a flagship title for the next gen platform as yet as far as visuals go, and what kind of "tricks" or "hacks" can result with a few years of dedicated development. I think there's a lot of cool stuff happening with software even if the hardware might not seem all that impressive.
