KOEI TECMO AND SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT AMERICA LLC. ANNOUNCE WESTERN RELEASE OF NIOH
EXCLUSIVELY ON PLAYSTATION®4
Epic Samurai-centric Action RPG Combines All-Star Talents of
Kou Shibusawa, Hisashi Koinuma, and Team NINJA
Hertfordshire, 07 December 2015 – At the recent PlayStation Experience event in San Francisco, CA, Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) and KOEI TECMO announced that Nioh, a dark, samurai-centric action RPG, will be coming to the west exclusively for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system. Nioh has been in development under the direction of Kou Shibusawa, Hisashi Koinuma, and Team NINJA.
In Nioh, players will traverse war-torn Japan as William, a blonde-haired swordsman whose background as a fierce warrior and seasoned knowledge of the blade allows him to survive in the demon-plagued land of the samurai. Known as Yokai, these demons inhabit a number of dangerous locations and lie in wait in the shadows to ambush unsuspecting victims. Players will also face off with other samurai in supernatural sword battles and intense, multi-target engagements offering a level of difficulty that will truly test even the most hardened samurai’s skills, patience, and strategy.
Offering a deep and original storyline that takes place during the Warring States Period of Japanese history alongside strategic sword-fighting action, Nioh will challenge players in a way that makes every mission and accomplishment feel earned and worthwhile. More information on this comprehensive, action-packed RPG experience will be released in the coming months.

Some interesting things Kotaku's Jason Schreier said and also Phil Spencer's response on it [url] (30 minutes ago)
@droezelke: Yep, absolutely no reason for me at all to get one right now. I'm good with Zelda on Wii U. If Mario had been a launch title though....... lol. (3 Hours ago)
this year because this was clearly going to be Sony's year, but then MS announced Scorpio and Mario Odyssey was announced. But next year should be fine, no big purchases planned, haha. (3 Hours ago)
I told myself when PS4 had just released that I was gonna get one when Uncharted 4 came out, but when it came out I borrowed my brother's PS4 and finished it. So I was then planning on getting one (3 Hours ago)
@Moonwalker: For Mario you have time until September. :-) (3 Hours ago)
I realize I'm going to need a PS4 for that and the plan is to get one next year. Just can't be this year with Scorpio, a new TV and probably a Switch for Mario too, lol. (3 Hours ago)
A JRPG like Ni No Kuni 2, Tales of series, Star Ocean even though the latest is bad. Not just JRPG either, games like Nioh, Nier etc (3 Hours ago)
