Hmmm. This game seems to be a sort of L4D meets LoC. Being a huge legacy of kain fan, I'm at the very least glad to see them revisiting the world. I wonder if the flying race is Raziel's.

After years of no LoK, THIS is what they return with? Rather the series stayed dead tbh.

Most ironic of all, was the last gift that Raziel had given us. More powerful than the sword that now held his soul, more acute even than the vision that his sacrifice had accorded us. The first, bitter taste of that terrible illusion: hope.

Aaaand... it's gone.

that made me lol. it's great to see so many passionate LoK fans here, i thought i was a very small minority. I wonder if there's someone out there that we can kickstart to do a proper story driven LoK game. With Amy Hennig now with naughty dog, I don't know if there's anyone else can can do the story justice.

About the game

What's up?

GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (16 minutes ago)

GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (31 minutes ago)

GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (33 minutes ago)

GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (34 minutes ago)

droezelke @GriftGFX: no, a snapdragon 835 does not have computing power of a Q6600 (9 years old). Do you really want to go further in time to prove your statement made sense? (39 minutes ago)

GriftGFX And "many" isn't a specific number. There are many 8088s :D (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX But the exponential rate of progress means that you don't have to go back too far to make that true. A lot of the progress here was done in our lifetimes. That's amazing. (1 Hour ago)
