Oblivion: Xbox-Live trailer and panoramic screenshots

Oblivion: Xbox-Live trailer and panoramic screenshots

We're kinda late, but those who haven't downloaded it yet should appreciate to find the famous Oblivion Xbox-Live trailer right here, finally. Globally identic to the old E3 '05 video, this trailer is still pure eye-candy, thanks to the remarquable environments Bethesda has developed. Just a bit less bloom and it'll be perfect.
Update: New panoramic PC images & 720p version of the trailer added.

Uh......the trailer is not exactly 720p......

EDIT: Now it's there, thanks!

EDIT2: Compare shot number 5 with shot number 12...what's up with that? His clothing looks much better in shot 5.

Game already pre-ordered, can't wait to play this game!

That new screen is oustanding. The amount of vegetation on screen is insane. There also appears to be more variety in the plants than before.

Not only do I like the graphics I'm really interested in seeing how the AI reacts. I've read some interesting tibits in regards to the A.I.

Didn't they downgrade the graphics, something about soft shadowing being removed?

If so, what do the screens look like now?

I'm still on the fence on this game. Morrowind left me rather disappointed (though probably my fault as I got sucked into the hype). I'll probably wait a few weeks to see how people's initial reaction to Oblivion are before buying.

I was also dissapointed with Morrowind, yet I realized it wasn't because of the game itself. It was more due to the fact that I had always played Japanese RPG's all my life with there turn based tactics and linear story. and Morrowind was so different from a turn based RPG that it left me wondering what the hell was going on. Yet once I started playing more FPS and how immersive they can be due to there view perspective and playing non-linear games like GTA. Now I can play this type of RPG and feel more than comfortable!

Graphically it looks great, but these type of games are not my cup of tea.
Commented on 2006-03-09 00:44:50
They aren't my cup of tea either (usually only jap rpgs can get me, but this one has drawn me in)

Usually all it takes for you to like a game is read up information on it (don't get scared off by the long paragraphs actually read through it to see what the game has to offer then you'll be glad you decided to do it ;)

droezelke @nostradamus: Haha. That scene is genius... in being so bad. (47 minutes ago)

HR2 @droezelke: an even better choice would be Paul Rudd, he would be perfect (1 Hour ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @HR2: Chris Pratt would be just as good. :-) (1 Hour ago)
  • HR2
HR2 @droezelke: then I think we would be wrong to complain about this one, this is the only role he was born to play, if anything he should have adopted different acting methods for his other roles (1 Hour ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke I have the same issue with Chris Pratt. In Parcs and rec, I saw his character. But ever since, I can only see him as his character in parcs and rec. In Passengers, he almost succeeded. (2 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke I never see a character, I see Nathan. Good actors make me forget for a while who plays the character. Know what I'm trying to say? (2 Hours ago)
