Both the title and the image of this news should have brought back to you the sweet memory of Grand Raid Offroad, which became the pleasant but far from perfect Fuel. Unhappily Off-Road Driver isn't an open-world racer at all but it will offer you to take part in many off-road events all around the world. Let's hope that its physics engine and its driving will follow! Till then, here are two image galleries, a trailer and a press release.
Press Release :
Off-Road Drive is the first game ever to deliver a true-to-life, off-road, racing experience. Players will take part in The Russian Trophy, Off-Road Trial, Thai Trophy and many other events through the worst driving conditions such as swamps, rocks, snow and sand.
Featuring the largest variety of off-road sport vehicles, Off-Road Drive includes tuned stock SUVs and trucks, as well as several classes of prototypes specifically built for extreme driving. The vehicles can be equipped with an assortment of special cross-country equipment and accessories including winches, low gear, differential gear locking, GPS, clinometer, altimeter, tire air pressure control, sand tracks, etc.
Featuring the most innovative simulation of interactive terrain response, vehicles will act just like they do in real life; Cars will sink in the dirt and the dirt will create a rut which will stick to the cars and tires affecting their handling. Stones will fly from underneath the wheels and damage other trucks. The game will feature various surfaces that will not only affect tire friction but have complex reactions based on car weight, speed, wheel torque, tire condition, time on this surface, depth of car immersion into the surface and much more.
* Leading international off-road championships
* Racing and mud bogging
* Tough challenges and obstacles to beat
* Special off-road equipment and accessories (Lowered gearing, front/rear locking differentials, winch, etc.)
I didn't understand why he played so poorly either though. Subasic has been amazing the rest of the tourney. A big reason they won against Denmark and Russia (9 Hours ago)
@MrWhite: I agree. Penalty like that shouldn't happen in a WC final. Croatia's keeper was screened for almost all of those goals, aside from the deflection (9 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: oh god, that is amazing. the sounds and visuals are insane for a sim. (9 Hours ago)
@droezelke: For both them? Mbapp was 20 odd yards out. His positioning was shite. Should never have let that one past him. (9 Hours ago)
If FIFA didn't object so long to get a VAR, the concept could have been bug-fixed 10 years ago. (11 Hours ago)
@Tinks: The VAR is an exvellent tool, but the rules applied to the VAR are restricting them from intervening. Also, the hands-rule is so ill defined that it's completely open to interpretation. (11 Hours ago)
Then the shot came and as he tried to correct to the right, he was leaning on the wrong leg and went out of balance. (11 Hours ago)
