Microsoft sent us this image of Gears of War, which looks as fantastic as ever - specially this time, as this image is the most impressive one I've seen from the game.

are they shooting for 30 or 60 fps? i don't remember, but either way if it runs smooth to,.. it'll be hard to beat for sure

I remember them saying if they ever hit 60 fps they would put more stuff in, so 30 is a safe bet.

Nice. This is from the first level (i think) of the game. its definately the same one that cliffy B showed at the E3 MS press conference.

Hopefully we'll get some direct feed HD gameplay demos soon.

It looks about as good as the pre-rendered Killzone video shown for PS3. But from the gameplay video I've seen it looks much more fun than Killzone series. And it's Xbox 360 exclusive!

That particular screenshot ain't impressive. You can't really make out any of the details. But we all know the game looks great so I guess it doesn't matter if one screen sucks.

Thats sad if they reach 60fps and then put more shit in to make it 30ish again, i take 60fps with less objects before a packed 30fps game any day.

I hope the gameplay doesn't let you down..duck, shoot, duck, shoot..

I also have a strange feeling the single player mode could be really short..oh well, xbox live might be fun..still..duck, shoot, duck shoot..won't have the same impact an fps has over live.
