One Piece storms in with a scan

One Piece storms in with a scan

Japanese magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump reveals tiny fragments of the videogame One Piece: Unlimited Cruise in construction for the Nintendo Wii. The first episode will be released in summer 2008 for Japan while the second will be available in the winter of the same year over there. Not to be mixed with One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, already available in the country of the rising sun.

They've changed the designs, it looks so wrong.

Omg, that kid looks like a 10x demented version of Edward Scissor hands, In all honesty these graphics are on par with N64, maaaaybe the Gamecube, its like they've taken a step backwards.

Was the last One Piece game for the Wii any good? I think it was called Grand Adventure and I remember the videos of it looked like a lot of fun. Also, I'm not sure which scan you guys are looking at but it's certainly nowhere near N64 quality, especially the third shot at the bottom with the ship at sea.

I think you are forgetting how horrible the n64 games looked.

Looks awesome if you ask me, the anime is hardly a visual delight so you can't make it much better than it already is.

But saying that the Anime does look very nice in 720p, its about time Naruto and Bleach went 720p

Sheps if you think that looks like a N64 game then their is something at odds with your eyesight.

The water alone is too much for the N64 to do.

About the game

What's up?

Sdarts @KORNdog: Yes, I love Fear Effect very much. But if they're going to make it differently, I would prefer a sequel rather than a remake. Though remakes are easier, faster and cheaper to develop. (13 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Sdarts: i would prefer the cel shading too, but i'm not going to write off the entire game just because it doesn't have it. it's a great series and the fact it's back is awesome. (23 minutes ago)

Sdarts Fear Effect (PS1) - All Cutscenes: [url] For comparison. (47 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts This falls more in line with what Grift and others mentioned they hated in most mods - completely altering the artstyle. (50 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts Plus, that walking animation looks janky as hell. If they were going to remake it, they should do Cel-Shading similar to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and CyberConnect2's Naruto games. (51 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @KORNdog: That Fear Effect "remake" actually looks like shit. The worse is the artsyle, the original and the sequel were never about realism, they had a very impactful artstyle that this has none of. (53 minutes ago)

Sdarts Game of Thrones: "We make do with what we got." Now to wait for the season finale. (56 minutes ago)
