Video PC Xbox 360 PS3

After Driftwood's PC screenshots and the 360 gameplay footage he posted earlier, we give you high quality 1080p videos of BioShock Infinite. Despite some stuttering issues every now and then, the PC version runs smoothly on our two different rigs (the more "modest" one "just" using a GTX 670) with everything maxed out. If your PC can handle playing our videos, you won't find better ones out there so make sure you check them out!

Hardware used to capture these videos:
- Intel i7 2700K @ 4.7 GHz
- 16 Go DDR3 1600 MHz
- 2x NVidia GTX 680 SLI
Capture software: Mirillis Action!

I've been hearing this stuttering everywhere. That's worrying.

There seems to be a fix here on neoGAF: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52944...

I tried it and it seems to be better but I didn't have much time to be sure if it removed stuttering. I put 800 for now. I'll try with a higher value.

A nice reminder of why I don't play PC games.
I have Infinite on the 360. I put the disc in, the game loaded, and I played it at a solid 30fps. Really rather easy.

Nope, there are occasional frame drops on the 360 version, the only difference is that there is nothing you can do about it. PC players always try to find a way to make things better while waiting for a patch, it doesn't always work but performance in BioShock is still way better than on consoles. I guess PC players just tend to accept technical issues less, that's all. ^^

Console version does have vsync as a toggle. Which does improve framerate, but you obviously get nasty ass screen tearing. With it on, no screen tearing, but more frequent, but still quite rare dips in framerate. One of the very few games that let you do it. more games should imo. Lets players decide if they prefer IQ or performance.

The Lego games do it too, or at least they used to back when Lego Indiana Jones was released. Not sure about the latest installments.

I keep reading everywhere about how great this game looks, but honestly I don't see it. They might be referring to the use of colors or artstyle, but it looks pretty bland to me. Or maybe lifeless would be a better word.

I'v found it's way more impressive in contexts to when your playing. This game is far better than I thought.

I've never seen any other game with such a believable world, it's so alive. Every room, street and corner has a story to tell. If you're the kind of person who enjoys being rewarded whenever you go off and explore the world instead of just run-n-gun shooting your way to the end, you're going to love this game. Not to be confused with "open world", this is a linear experience, but a meticulously crafted one, unlike I've ever seen before.

Still, I wish they would have even more focussed on atmosphere and immersion, instead of the almost constant shooting and violence. The amount of overkill in Bioshock games just doesn't mix as well with the story as it could, were it toned down to less enemies and more realistic damage output.

It's no Crysis or BF3 from a technical view point, but once you see it in all it's glory on PC on you own screen, it looks gorgeous because of the art style, the lively colours, the way everything is moving. It's pretty magical.
After you disable FXAA and apply MSAA/SMAA.

was a huge fan of the first bioshock and as much as I loved the story, gameplay, and grahics of this game I really wish I waited for it to go on sale or just borrow it from a friend, because it was sadly too short for 60 dollars in my opinion. beat the game in 9 hours and that was with me stopping every minute to look at everything. Im sure i didn't cover every inch of the game but I can say I spent a good 2 hours off the main story just exploring (what little I can explore). im going to replay it of course and get the most out of this game, but 60 dollars was way too expensive for something I will play through once more and not touch for a very long time.

I did like you, took my time, took me 19 hours to complete and I haven't even found all the voxophones and upgrades. Maybe you shouldn't have played in easy/medium mode. :)

I think Infinite is by far the most memorable game I have played this gen.

Same. The game easily took my 20 hours. But then i played on the difficulty mode every review was suggesting (hard) and actively searched for all the voxophones, gear and items.

Probably not my most memorable game. (I still think bioshock has a much better atmosphere, world and more experimental combat system) But definitely going to be in my 2013 GOTY list. The story was thought provoking and stuck with you long after the credits rolled. Which i haven't had since...probably silent hill 2.
