Our PC videos of Vanquish

Our PC videos of Vanquish

Vanquish has finally been ported to the PC, allowing PC owners to enjoy the game in 4K resolution, provided they have the rig for it. Inside, you'll find some gameplay footage of the game recorded in 1080p while the game was running in 4K. For more information on this good port, check out the excellent article our good friend Dark John 10x wrote for Digital Foundry.

Nice quality videos as always!!! :)
But I think you can have a lot more fun with the game if you mostly dive-rolling, bullet time, shoot target etc. Otherwise it becomes like a typical cover based shooter. At least, it was possible in the PS3 version and I hope they kept that...

too busy playing the sh out of this. it's great that this landed on steam. platinumgames should also release this for the current gen as well.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
    GriftGFX The upgrades I want don't exist yet. I want a 240hz g-sync display at 1440p+. (7 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX This is the best CPU I've ever owned for sure. I mean, obviously, but also relatively. 2600K is/was a workhorse. (9 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And in some cases.. like WD2.. I get dips below 60 FPS but with g-sync I kept those settings instead of turning shit down because it's smooth anyway. (9 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Also play at 1440p.. but no I don't play every game at max settings. As Melmoth was saying, you generally get diminishing returns on some things in terms of performance vs. results (10 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: Not every game, no.. but I play all my competitive games at high framerates. I only get like 90 FPS in BF1. (12 minutes ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: You only upgraded 1 part once in 7 years, and you play at 144fps at max setting? (20 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I think g-sync also extends the life of a GPU, since unstable frame rates aren't really an issue. (1 Hour ago)
