When F1 Race Stars was first announced, many thought Codemasters had lost it. In the end, despite some flaws (few tracks, no drifting, artistic design of the power-ups), this Mario kart lookalike is rather fun to play, even a bit more than LittleBigPLanet Karting, which is a surprise to be honest. The tracks and the environments look pretty cool, with some vertiginous downhill slopes and a welcome variety. The races could have been more dynamic and probably a tad faster, but they are fun to play anyway. Now the game clearly doesn't have the charm of Sony's title, but it still is a promising first attempt at dethroning the king. Note: Footage is from PS3 version.
So Forza Horizon 3 also benefitted from FM6: Apex. Quantum Break's PC version was Remedy's first foray into DirectX 12 development. And I also agree it seems like it was decided late in the process. (27 minutes ago)
Source: [url] He was referring to Quantum Break on PC. Also, I'm sure Turn 10 shared what it learned from Forza Motorsport 6: Apex with Playground Games (29 minutes ago)
@alimokrane: True, Remedy's Head of Communications said: "We have worked on this release for a while. We got a lot more experience in shipping DX11 titles." (31 minutes ago)
perform very well. I am expecting Gears 4 to follow suit. (1 Hour ago)
To be honest, QB looks great on XO. the PC port was a fiasco really.. MS shouldnt have forced them to do it. Other games which intended to have a DX12 port well early look great. ReCore and Forza H3 (1 Hour ago)
Not that DX12 wasn't (isn't?) over hyped :D (1 Hour ago)
AW runs at 10fps on my laptop, when UE3 and other engines thrive running on that shit toaster. (1 Hour ago)
