When F1 Race Stars was first announced, many thought Codemasters had lost it. In the end, despite some flaws (few tracks, no drifting, artistic design of the power-ups), this Mario kart lookalike is rather fun to play, even a bit more than LittleBigPLanet Karting, which is a surprise to be honest. The tracks and the environments look pretty cool, with some vertiginous downhill slopes and a welcome variety. The races could have been more dynamic and probably a tad faster, but they are fun to play anyway. Now the game clearly doesn't have the charm of Sony's title, but it still is a promising first attempt at dethroning the king. Note: Footage is from PS3 version.
You see a lot of people trying to emulate the success of other content makers too. That's definitely a thing. (1 Hour ago)
@MikeManiac61: I'm not 100% sure but I think that's a thing. Publishers complain if people post too much gameplay without commentary.. because they think it's like.. almost piracy. (1 Hour ago)
@GriftGFX: Well now i know. So they really to talk a lot get monetized? Maybe it's just me but i can't enjoy gameplay if a guy (RadBrad example) if they blabber much. (1 Hour ago)
You can't monetize no commentary let's play videos, I don't think. I don't think any of the Youtubers I watch are TMZ presenters though. (3 Hours ago)
@crookedmind: Youtube in a nutshell right now. Can't stand it when they need to open their mouths every 5 seconds of the video. No commentary vids should be more popular. (4 Hours ago)
