Our videos of Flower on the PS4

Flower is in my opinion one of the most memorables titles of the PS3, along with Flow and Journey from the same developer, and it's with quite a bit of joy that many gamers downloaded the remastered PS4 version of this very zen titles for their brand new console, and the result is a very spectacular looking title!

This is quite interesting. I played it last night for the first time and thought I'd give it 5 minutes of my time before I started a long Killzone session. I ended up playing this for quite a while. It was kinda hard to put down. Relaxing, and the visuals, although only consisting of grassy hills and sparse with objects, it simply looks amazing. It's incredibly smooth, 60fps always, and boy 1080p makes a HUGE difference. I didn't notice a single bit of aliasing until a bit later in the game I saw a tree over the hill and noticed a tiny bit.

This is why I am all about hardware. I had no hardware limitations distracting me from the core of the experience

I recently bought to game for the PS4. I hear it's really a moving game. I'm not gonna play it until I get a new TV though. I should have a new LED TV by February of 2014.

Best PS4 game by a mile. Killzone does not get a look in.

Damn, this is one of my favorite titles on PS3, once I get a PS4, I'll definitely get this one as well! Zen-mode all over again.

GriftGFX @Megido: Well I'm not about bowling and shit.. but there's quite a bit of good content. More than most linear games. (1 minute ago)
  • Megido
Megido @GriftGFX: Id on't know. I didn't finish GTA5 but i felt like a LOT of the missions were complete throwaway garbage. The main story was mostly decent, but the rest? (13 minutes ago)

GriftGFX And right now there's a bit of a backlash against sandbox games in general. (27 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX There are plenty of examples of poor open world games, but there's also stuff like GTA5. I think it's a bit more nuanced than open world = bad is all. (29 minutes ago)
  • Megido
Megido @GriftGFX: I think you nailed it there though. "The best bits". Most open world sandbox games are filled with mediocrity and some good bits. (36 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Yes.. that "build a world" part is where they design it. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @GriftGFX: except not many are. they build a world, and stick quests in it. that's why open world RPG's quests are typically so shallow. (1 Hour ago)
