Thank you very much for all these glorious high bit rate videos, people comparing with low bit rate videos from youtube and saying : next gen is not a huge leap from last gen are wrong, they should watch high rez/high bit rate videos on a big 1080p screen.
watching a 1080p youtube video with a pathetic bitrate causing horrible compression of picture/lack of detail on a small pc screen and declaring : next gen is not impressive ! is absurd.
the stable 60 frames per second is impressive, the new material high rez textures/shaders too but the lack of effective anti aliasing is killing the CG like of the picture and especially the colors/lighting is still not as natural and photo realistic looking as gran turismo, look at this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA34w2jkrU0
but even more importantly the lack of dynamic lighting/day/night/weather effects is disappointing for a nextgen racer, I believe that dynamic lighting and high rez weather effects would make all the diffrenece between last gen and nextgen racers.

I want this game sooo bad but the lack of new content makes me think gt6 forza 4 and horizon will tide me over. I'll wait until forza 6 maybe once there are enough exclusives to warrant an XO purchase
This game looks so good. But in sticking with the theme of picking anything XB1 a part those backgrounds look pretty 2D at times.
The only thing I really don't like about this game is the disgusting dlc practice they're pushing on it. Having not only "recommended" cars locked as dlc in the game, but also singling out the very best cars and charging you to spend money on several cars when you just want that one specific car. Fuck that for a game of soldiers. Hopefully by the time I pick up an xbox they'll be a complete game of the year addition of this.
Is that Kinect head tracking btw? on giantbombs quicklook they said you could nolonger look round the cockpit using the pad...
Nice game of bumper cars.. This is no simulation, but neither is GT either. This just isn't a big jump up from games like GT6 or Forza4. I haven't played GT6, but I do own Forza4, which will have to hold me over for a while til something truly next gen comes along. Overall I'm pretty disappointed in Next Gen, but I suppose after gaming on a GTX780 at Titan speeds for a while it will be difficult to impress me.
I do have faith in seeing some impressive things on the PS4, which I do believe will approach PC quality. It isn't going to happen on the Xbox.

It's like the GT5 2D trees/crowds thing all over again. It's hilarious. you're driving by at 150mph, who cares if a guy in the crowd is a cardboard cut-out?
now we get to understand why forza 5 got 82% on metacritic, the promising E3 videos were far more detailed but then the game was running off GTX titans, both turn 10 and microsoft should come out and admit they used false advertising to dress up their next gen racer that's failed to live up to the hype but also now does not support existing peripherals such as the fanatec race wheel that cost so much.
Played a ton today. This game on a Samsung 8000 is a sight to behold. The game looks stunning. Really enjoying myself with this one. The competition is very good...the races feel alive and youre always on the edge of your seat because at the drop of a hat you can go from 3rd to 13th quickly. great game.
Played for about 12 hours now, Loving every minute of it, Graphics are stunning...Remember how big the jump was from F2 to F4...So if F5 looks like this now imagine what 6 and 7 ar going to look like :)
