Those who have followed the terrible release of Inner Chains know that great graphics and art style aren't enough to make a good title. Despite a pretty solid atmosphere, this first game by Telepaths' Tree is plagued with problems, one of them being its very poor optimization. GTX 1080 or not, expect some noticeable frame drops every time too many effects kick in, which we could not even try to reduce by lowering the game's resolution as it would not propose anything below 2048*1536 on our 4K TV. Character and camera movement is also very clunky, not to mention how slow and uninteresting gameplay is. Even though we like the visual style a lot, we couldn't play more than an hour. A real shame.
I actually know the guy who made the weapon skins for BF1 (45 minutes ago)
Or just look at some of the garish skins in CS:GO. As far as Battlefield goes? BF1 has some of the best weapon skins I've seen period. (1 Hour ago)
...for hundreds of dollars lol (1 Hour ago)
Lawbreakers is a great example of why you need PLAYERS for cosmetic DLC to work. Look at the prices of fairly shitty looking PUBG loot on the Steam market. That game looks like ass and skins sell (1 Hour ago)
When it comes to online, people want to stand out a bit. It's just how it is, and if wasn't, then loot boxes wouldn't be a thing. (1 Hour ago)
Everyone cares for cosmetics, otherwise you'd have a game that was just Gouraud shaded, or looked like Minecraft. (1 Hour ago)
Lawbreakers is a shining example of why you need a good art team for cosmetics to work (1 Hour ago)
