After LittleBigPlanet Karting, Sony is once again trying to encroach on Nintendo's territory with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. We couldn't capture the PS Vita version because the person in charge of the French review does not have any capture equipment but he got you some images proving the game looks really nice. As for me, I was able to record some gameplay footage of the PS3 version for you guys so you can see what this Smash Bros Brawl lookalike has in store for you. Graphically and musically speaking, Sony's title is a pleasant surprise, but it's a shame there's not more depth in the gameplay department. The single player content is not really exciting, as unlockables aren't really interesting, but Multiplayer (local or online) is fun, and online play was smooth during our sessions. To sum up, if you have friends and no Wii to turn to, then maybe PS All-Stars will do it for you for lack of better alternatives.
@KORNdog: What game is that?! (0 minute ago)
talking about that splinter-cell style stealth game they showed back when the console was announced. (3 minutes ago)
@Moonwalker: new IP's don't mean much if they're not appealing. they had their hands on a cool new IP that looked awesome, and people really wanted and nothing came of it (3 minutes ago)
But millions? Like a new mainline Halo game? Nah I don't see that happening to be honest. (7 minutes ago)
I mean I am not a big fan if Division and Destiny but they do have more than just one objective. But I am sure SoT will too at release (10 minutes ago)
It's going to depend on marketing I think and if Rare releases a full game, meaning several different quests, enough reasons to explore these islands. I think their E3 showing is going to be important (12 minutes ago)
@KORNdog: Oh man I have no idea. What frustrates me is that plenty of Xbox owners want new IP, yet when MS does that, people don't buy it. (14 minutes ago)
