Risen 2: Dark Waters is now available on PC, console owners being forced to wait a few more months, and we took a bit of our precious weekend time to capture a few gameplay videos for you guys. Once gain, Piranha Bytes' new game suffers from quite a few technical issues (pop-in mostly, but also framerate issues on my PC - i5 3.2 Ghz, RAM: 8 Go, Geforce GTX 570) but there is something definitely appealing in being a pirate. The videos were captured using Fraps at 60 fps thanks to Miguel's new comp (i7 5 Ghz, RAM 16 Go, two Geforce GTX 680) so big thanks to him. Update: Images added.
@Moonwalker: stutter can be frame pacing related, which is seperate to fluctuating framerate stutters. NDS rivals was locked at 30fps and stuttered due to a frame pacing bug (4 Hours ago)
I just beat Cleric Beast! ;P (5 Hours ago)
@droezelke: me too. not too excited, i don't know what to expect lol i'll leave it downloading tonight (5 Hours ago)
and remove the stutter, cause except for the stutters, it feels smooth, if that makes sense. The blur of 30fps is gone and i like that. But i am jumpin to conclusions now. (6 Hours ago)
So they will have the fps locked at 30 on X1 with new patch, but also STILL looking into the stuttering? So we'll get locked 30fps still with stutters? I honestly rather have them keeping it unlocked (6 Hours ago)
