As promised, here are the four 1080p videos of Arma 3 Miguel took the time to capture for you guys so you can see how the game looks on a killer rig and how demanding it can be in terms of gameplay. While all modern FPS tend to simplify everything, this third installment in Bohemia's series remains faithful to what it's always been, a real simulation where death punishes those who aren't careful enough. Because Miguel is a newbie (and I am no better), he chose to focus on the showcases of the single player missions, leaving multiplayer aside, at least for now. We are also happy to announce that the guys at Bohemia Interactive have decided to offer 50 more alpha lite keys (25 on each side of the website) to those of you who will leave a comment right after this. The only rule is you have to have been a member on GSY for at least 2 days. Better yet, one of them will actually give you access to the full game (in its alpha state obviously), and we don't even know which one that is. Good luck!
It's a meaty campaign too. And you'll probably like the MP anyway. It's a fun throw-away experience. (9 minutes ago)
@Tinks: The single player campaign is the best raw action FPS gameplay since Painkiller though, it's totally worth it. (25 minutes ago)
if the MP ain't good I ain't buyin it (46 minutes ago)
@KORNdog: the headset itself is selling for almost $600. It's unusually expensive considering there's proper distribution of sony products here in retail. (4 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: it seems cheaper to break things down and buy older stick. Like the sqare design camera can be had for less than the new one. And old move controllers less than the ore packaged VR ones. (5 Hours ago)
lol, PSVR (with camera) will sell for $650 here in Norway. talk about overpricing stuff. the console itself isn't expensive ($350) (5 Hours ago)
... in Doom 3 I was begging for the game to end after 300 something levels, Doom kept me interested the entire time. They tried to keep to their simple FPS gameplay, and they succeeded. (6 Hours ago)
