Troll and I is a low-budgeted game trying to propose an action-adventure experience borrowing from AAA titles, with Uncharted-styled platforming, crafting and cooperation with an AI (or a friend - local only). The main problem with such titles is that their technical limitations can weigh down on their potential, which is more or less what seems to be happening here. Character models and animations are too dated to make the game truly immersive, though the environment itself looks ok overall - provided you don't mind real-time growing grass. Gameplay mechanics are also too stiff and clunky from what we've seen, and contrary to a game like Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, it seems to fail to deliver when it comes to atmosphere. Now don't take our word for it and check out our videos to let us know what you think. The game is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One (and soon on Switch).
put and end to corridor/cinematic/c utscene/qte/playforyousoyouwon'tmissathi ousoyouwon'tmissathing ng experiences, and start to see more games like Prey/BotW and the sort. Nuts&Bolts is an awesome game, as well. We need N&B2 (1 Hour ago)

I mean, didn't you just buy an X to play the same games with better visuals? Your stance doesn't really seem very consistent tbh. (1 Hour ago)
If you have no Interest in either of those things your only option is to move onto some other hobby. Because you're not going to see any mainstream Dev making something truly unique...ever. (1 Hour ago)
@droezelke: whether I sound like a snob or not. It's the truth. The industry is all about playing it safe now. If your after original experiences you have 2 options. Indie or VR (usually also indie) (2 Hours ago)
@Tinks: Do you think EA will go back? They have pushed the boundaries. So 1 step back would seem like a 'good thing'. (5 Hours ago)
