Wander will be released tomorrow on PC and PS4 and it's really hard to believe considering that the PC version we were sent is not even worthy of the Alpha title. To find out why, read our opinion inside and watch our two gameplay videos.
Aside from the fact that this MMO seems pretty limited gameplay-wise, it will most probably be remembered for its numerous bugs and glitches. The main character refuses to run all of a sudden (which wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the fact that she walks more slowly than a dead snail). She can go through rocks or the ground, just like in the very first 3D games of yore. In her human form, she seems so small in first person view that Killzone's heroes look like NBA players. Final example, sometimes she likes to swim in the air after launching the game because yesterday we had decided to go for a swim before quitting - which always causes the game to crash to make things worse. As it is now, this game cannot be taken seriously sadly, and we're all the more disappointed as we really thought it would be nice to explore the environment. Unless the team behind the game does something very quickly or the PS4 version is radically different, we can only advise you to stay away from it.
Note: It's not Gamersyde's habit to show bugs in videos but we really had no choice considering the current state of the game.
@jmd749: OLED is king for watching movies, and especially if you sit off-center (10 Hours ago)
@jmd749: FALD can be a bit hit and miss, depending on how many zones and how aggressive it's programmed to work. Like the Q8 that's got far fewer zones (causing glow around bright objects) (13 Hours ago)
I'm excited for you, that is a beast of a television, with far superior HDR performance than any OLED with minimal to no burn-in issues. :P (16 Hours ago)
When I got my OLED 2017 FALD panels were more expensive, it's good to see they've dropped in price. I'd probably have bought the same as you, cause tbf FALD with just under 500 zones is good for a 65" (16 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: 15ms latency is pretty good and 2K nits will make for some very good HDR viewing, though a higher electricity bill. :P Agreed, I play old games on my PC monitor to avoid burn in on my OLED. (16 Hours ago)
Most of the rough edges in BFV are around stuff like UI. The actual game is solid as hell. (21 Hours ago)
This is also the first Battlefield game that won't have expansions, which is something consumers asked for. (21 Hours ago)
