The Crysis 3 beta is available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, it allows players to try the multiplayer for two weeks. We therefore offer you some PC videos, all settings maxed out, on each of the two maps and playing on the new Hunter game mode.

I'm sorry, that stealth camping with the bow is the gayest thing ever lol. How do they expect to keep the game fun if all they're doing is hiding with stealth on? Then again, I have no idea why some people are stealthed and others are not, nor what the objective is. Are they suppose to have the nanosuits with all the powers while you guys are suppose to be the regular joes?

CELL has nothing but a EMP grenade which is stupid, thats it.
Also, cloak pussies are so annoying, as soon as they reveal themselves they go into cloak like idiots idiots, its not fun at all!
Unless the Hunters quickly take them out, all CELL players i seen do is camp in a corner with a shield and let the rimer run out since the AR kills them extremely quick.
The mode could be fun but its horribly one sided and makes it not fun. Hell, dying as CELL to be converted to Hunter is a pleasure.
I played on PC first even on the lowest settings with some High's it looks 10x better than the garbage found on consoles. Its so ugly on ps3 (360 as well by images) that i cant play it that way.
I say Crytek should just wait for next gen and release it on next gen consoles, or re-release it with max settings because its pathetic on consoles. And yes, sub HD is the reason why it looks so fucking ugly, its not even as close as 360's Black Ops 2 resolution, thats how ugly it is.
Anyways, i am sticking to PC just to play SP since MP is really bad all around.

- FXAA : a bit blury, no outline bug, almost no FPS impact (60)
- SMAA Low : very nice, no outline bug, almost no FPS impact (60)
- SMAA High : very nice too, but I got the outline bug, almost no FPS impact (60)
- TXAA 2x : nice, outline bug, light FPS impact (50-60)
- TXAA 4x : very nice in movement, outline bug, huge FPS impact (40-60)
- MSAA 4x : nice, outline bug, light FPS impact (55-60)
Note on the outline bug : it's a known bug of the beta, only appears with some AA setting, in the game, in low light, objects get an outline to help to see the layout, but this outline is rendered half the resolution when the bug occurs, and is not antialiased.
That's why I chose the SMAA Low setting, there's no aliasing visible, only temporal, and no awful outline bug.
In the videos I was not already aware of this outline bug, I captured it with SMAA High.

Commented on 2013-01-31 11:52:01When your hunted, either keep moving, or move when you hear the sound of the enemy getting closer, also group up can help and use grenade to highlight enemy.
I've won many rounds as the hunted, is not one sided, it's not cod.
Same thing with defending the area. people can attack from above with fist to the ground, you can use shield, or just move about.
It's a decent take on MP, hopefully there will be a lot of other modes.
As for PS3/360 They really need to make it 30fps+

As for the game, I DL the beta last night but didn't had teh chance to try it, I will tonight and report with some impressions tomorrow.
