I wish PDZ would _NOT_ have been a launch game, Rare would have had more time to polish it up. It seems it has been hurried down so it can hit the launch windows, too bad. Surely this has affected some what to the situation, but PDZ has gotten some good reviews, no rave, but good. Nothing new, but solid FPS(first-person-shooter, you get the idea) and few minor glitches here and there. I am just hoping that Halo 3 and PD2 will rock, and the release date is WID, when it's done. Sure have to keep an eye out for Prey too. My next gaming target though is Return Castle Wolfenstein 2, and get that baby rolling nice on my PC, see you in clanbase then :) Some offtopic stuff but, hey it's all good!

For some reason I find the character design of Joanna not that good.
She looks like an extreme makeover gone bad. :(
There's so much difference between good pre rendered stuff (in which she all looks different, just compare the FHM shots with the wallpapers in the other newsitem) and some really bad ingame character models with some weird facial lighting.A shame really.

The only thing that excites me about the game is the gameplay.

She kind of looks like Danny Bonnadochy's (I dont know how to spell his name) wife.

Hm... the edges of the polygons look like if the picture is a upscaled version of a lower resolution. Is PDZ rendered in 1024x600 und only upscaled to 1280x720?

For example look at the zipline in the last picture. Very blurry, but you can see the original pixels.

  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (31 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (46 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (48 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (49 minutes ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (55 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
