The TV camera was awesome in PGR1 even though it wasn't meant for racing. :p

I know, but I just love that camera. Replays are a very important part of a racing game for me, and if I can control it live? Nice.

It's a nice update, but it's not for me.

I just couldn't get into this game. I always go back to PGR3. I don't particularly fancy the weather fx personally, I hate the new cockpit (lack-of) views and I just don't like the additional tracks. Online has it's issue's as well. No spectator mode? WTF?! More people playing PGR3 doesn't help either.

Again, it's a nice update, I'll give 'm that. But I'll stick to PGR3.

Average? Since when is the E30 M3 average? Still considered by many to be the most fun car to drive ever. If that doesn't translate over to the game- then obviously Bizarre didn't get it right.

Demmit those screens look fantastic. One of the prettiest racers I have ever seen.

In a game like Forza 2, then yes that would be great, but in PGR it will be lame as it will handle nothing like it should so dont get your hopes up.Yup the graphics are awesome.

Omg, an E30 M3??? That's sweeet, would like to have this car more than any of the current 3 series.

But that Golf GTI W12 is quite... well in RL this car doesn't handle at all and this Bentley 650 bhp engine in there just produces so much torqes that you won't be able to go through corners, it handles horribly. Well PGR is arcade but still such a car being able to go through corners is still off, it's like as if american cars become the most economic and best handling cars.

Sounds like I'll be downloading the free content only. The free content does sound nice, and 400 points isn't too bad of a price, but this game just hasn't 'done it' for me, I liked PGR3 better (and PGR2 for that matter), and I'm not sure why.

Same here.. the weather kills the whole game for me,so poorly done.
pgr3 "was" the best online racing till Forza showed up.
pgr2 was fun because you have suv-trucks and what not.

Not really sure how anyone can prefer PGR3 to 4. They made it a lot more like the second game, which is great, and besides that it was basically the same game, but with more content. The switch to "Iconic" cars over simply supercars was also very much appreciated.

To be honest, yeah, you are right. To me those are not average cars though, but no matter how good the cars are, they are just too few. Still, just for the replay camera feature I'll pay them the 400pts. I think that one is free, but it would be my way to say thank you!

It's a lot of small things to me. Stuff like how some indoor car views are seriously unplayable and others still work, should have been worked out. The fact that you can't choose random cars based on class for opponents in custom races is time consuming and is another thing PGR3 did right. Even small things like not being able to re-choose my driver gender without restarting the game.

In-car camera in SOME cars is indeed not playable, but not less than PGR3.

Do you agree with the custom races? What about the game modes, I think the cone races were way less cool for example.

The car views are generally worse and way less consistent than PGR3, in fact I didn't find a single unplayable dashboard view in PGR3, while it was nearly 1/2 of all cars I tried in PGR4 I couldn't stand using the dash.

I chose a male driver and people posted shots of the female driver, but now there's no way I can even try to use the female one, which is annoying to me.

Cockpit views are way worse in PGR4 than PGR3. There also seems to be a lot more cars with the steering wheel on the right in PGR4, which is unplayable for me as well.

Another problem with PGR4 cockpit views is that you often sit too low and the window tinting is more than often overdone.

So when I find a car that I like, I just have to pray the seat isn't too low, the windows aren't tinted too much or that the steering wheel isn't on the wrong side. It certainly would've helped If we could atleast choose which side the steering wheel is on. It's not a SIM-racer so we don't have to pretend it would ruine the game if it weren't 100% real-life accurate.

Yeah its a great game, but whats the point? Noone is playing it online, and in the singleplayer career there is like 5% normal races, the rest are stupid time attacks and cone challenges :(
If as many people that play Forza 2 played this, i'd be in heaven.
As it is now i can sit for 20min waiting for a game with more than 4p to start, and the race is over in 3min.. That isnt fun.

And why cant you even set the AI's class of cars in custom races? I dunno, the whole game is sort of ruined by those stupid meaningless design decitions. A perfect game ruined :(
But Forza 2 has a fatal flaw that also makes it unfun to play imo, the fact that even if you are in a 10 lap bone-hard race for 20 minutes, if you come in last you get NOTHING for your efforts..
And even if you come in third, you get like 4000 credits.. Minus damage..
4000 credits for 20min sweaty hard racing, thats not even enough for a pair of tires..

why couldn't they bring the reg camaro 2009 in silver, that would have been sick.

As a huge fan of the game this is a serious let down. This would have really been hot a long time ago, but they took far too long with this. Too little too late.
