PGW is back to Detroit

PGW is back to Detroit

Three weeks after the end of Paris Games Week, we were finally sent the 4K gameplay footage of Detroit: Become Human we had recorded at the time with the equipment they had made available to the press (the very same Shogun Inferno we own). Three weeks of dial-up connection upload apparently, but as the expression goes, better late than never. Inside, you'll find the full demo we were able to play back then, in high quality because we can.

Thanks for these videos, the quality looks amazing. Specially at 4k.
Any chance there's more of these for other games at PGW?

Finally a high quality vid with no commentary!
So cool, so many details you can collect and we still don't know the whole situation like why the father had gun at the first place.
This game has a huge potential and knowing QD they will deliver

After PGW this still is my most anticipated game for PS. Can't wait to play it on my Pro.

I'm SUPER stoked for Detroit Become Human! I've been so eager to play this ever since the PS3's demo of "Kara". Unlike most Telltale games, the choices you make here really matter (like Heavy Rain).

Hope they'll release that demo. PSX would a great opportunity

We have all seen the "machines taking over" or "AI feeling things they shouldn't be feeling" stuff before and I'm hoping Cage and his team will give us a fresh outlook on this sci-fi setting.

Can anyone recommend me a lightweight 4K media player which is capable of handling 60fps without extreme stuttering?

My laptop has Geforce 960M, i7 6500HQ and 8GB RAM. I have tried MPC, VLC, Windows own Movies and Music player (the least processor intensive) but none of them can handle 60fps input without severe lagging.

I have to stop downloading 4K videos because and am looking for help.

CCCP codec, MadVR and MPC (ou the Win10 Movies & TV app)

Just installed CCCP 64 bit but the results haven't changed.

MadVR could also help. If not, I'm out of solutions I'm afraid.

Thanks Driftwood. I'll have to look at tweaking settings for the software.

That was pretty cool, a self-contained little story.

i-LO: I'm not a big fan of MPC anymore because of performance issues (ctrl-j in MPC, the graph shows an increasing desync resulting in a catch-up gap every few seconds that I can't get rid of, I tried on Radeon7850 and GF1050Ti, tried all available HW-accel options, CPU is i5-2500). Windows Media Player (in Windows 7) has no problem. Using k-lite codec pack. I think it might be a configuration issue, but why has WMP no problems and MPC has? I simply decided to use the one that works instead of digging further. MPC should come with a configuration that just works but it doesn't... not on my desktop with those 2 mentioned cards, nor on my laptop (same problem visible with ctrl-j).

Also, on a laptop you might want to try maximum performance in the energy options.

The visual fidelity of this game is insane. It surpases the Order 1886 in terms of the filmic quality of the effects.

Really reminds me of L.A.Noire regarding how the gameplay loop works. Not a bad thing probably. Looks like this is just one of many different small stories.
