EA sent us these five new images of Portal 2 and also announced that the happy owners of the PS3 version of the game will be given the PC digital version for free. Moreover, multiplayer will be cross-platform allowing PC players and PS3 players to share the same experience.

Sony is actually the more logical choice here, since there never was a real choice from the get go.
I don't own a PS3 but I'd probably buy the PS3 version if I did--even though I'd probably never play it :P
i jsut said it cause it was done with one of the 360 games (cross platform, cant remember name of game atm) so it shouldnt have been too hard
Sony's giving Valve a lot of give here, and they'd never get that from Microsoft. They (MS) won't even play nice with others on the PC. Instead of publishing their wares on established DD outlets, they only sell them through GFW. If you're not doing it their way, you're probably not doing it. It's all a little ironic, really, since that kind of freedom is precisely why some people still prefer Windows over MacOS.. but they're distancing themselves from it more and more with every new product.
