Postal 3 disturbs with images

Running With Scissors continues to polish its fame with images of Postal 3 in progress towards the PC and the Xbox 360 platforms. Developers asserted this week that a Playstation 3 version is possible, but unconfirmed. Planned in the second quarter of 2009, meaning a little more than year, this adventure marked by violence will be played in third person contrary to the subjective sight of before (not counting the 2D entry). Admire the badger launcher new chainsaw candidate and a short trip to the local sex boutique with a Source engine that is getting old (imagine the comparison in 2009).

I'll second that. It won't be a game that I'll be playing but calling this game ugly is just plain wrong. I'm seeing these screens as very solid. I would actually go as far as to say as this looks as if was Valve itself who did the graphics. Not in the sense of artdirection (for sure), but in the execution. That would be a testament in itself to how far RwS is pussing Postal3, especially considering the last Postal game was not a pretty sight (even when you take the release date in consideration).

I said the engine is getting old, it's a good use of the engine, but it still is getting old, no matter what. I'll admit these screens look quite good for now.

Still on foot i can see...
I am sad they chose the source engine, we will most probably have another level design in zones with loadings.

We'll see.

The most funny thing in postal 2 was the petition signing... will you please sign my petition ?

I tried Postal 2 but it wasn't really my cup of tea, and from the video i watched with the creators of this...i don't really think it's for me this time either. Their idea of profanity/violence = fun just doesn't ring out all too well with me. It's not that i have a problem with the violence, i just don't think it's all that fun in this case.

No way Running with scissors have learnt to do proper graphics, those shots are too good. :D

btw Postal 2 had some nasty mods.. borderline pathological stuff was created and I feel sinful for trying some of them.

Looks amazing, and the Source engine doesn't show its age here, so I don't see the reason for the comment.

Uwe Boll, is that you?

source engine looks great for being so old, i don't think another year will make the engine look bad. and since they release new features to the engine almost every half a year i wouldn't be surprised to see this game add some of those features. source engine is amazing and will never get old.

oh and yeah, postal games never been graphically pleasing, so this is a huge leap from that.

Ugh. Postal has never been a good series. And don't even get me started on the Uwe Boll travesty.

They didn't show the cat-silencer?! ^^
Well, P2 was quite some fun, but not a really good game...
Same will happen with this part...
