Project CARS back on PS4

It's once again thanks to Alan Boiston from Team VVV that we can propose new direct feed videos of the Playstation 4 version of Project CARS. If it's as rainy where you are as it is in France right now, you'll appreciate today's footage in Southern France as we have. If rain is more your thing, then you should definitely check the Spa race in a storm that Alan also sent us. Let us remind you that today's videos were again captured from a preview build that does not exactly reflect the quality of the final product. Still, it should make you pretty anxious to play Slightly Mad Studios' new title next week when it ships in Europe. I think it looks pretty good visually considering the amount of cars that can be on the track at the same time (over 40 I've heard).

Why do the cars in the PS4 version looks like ghosts ie; double image constantly compared to the Xbox One version?

Not sure what you are talking about ? Hopefully the game will be 50-60fps. Gfx are good

You should check out DigitalFoundry's tests, frame rate of the pre-production game was't really ideal, especially when cars were crowded or it was raining; Xbox One version's perfermance was even worse.
Maybe the final game's better.

it has incredibly low sample per object motion blur on top of the full screen motion blur. xbone has no per object motion blur at all. hopefully it's one of the options you can turn off becasue i think it looks worse. either that or they improve the sample rate.

The build they used was several months old (February at best), unlike the one Alan has. So please no, don't check out this video, it means nothing, major improvements have been made in terms of performance. I don't even understand how a website can seriously propose a performance test based on a game that is still in development...

The guys at DF are serious, but I do think they screwed up when it comes to PCARS. I don't know why it happened, but I can see no reason to stop reading their analyses.

Supposedly it's been removed and they all use the same full screen approach as last I heard not even the PC version has per object motion blur.
