What exactly is downgraded on this? You mean, the cars are not on the sunset background with wet road surface with a lot of over-blurred shots?

Do not expect these graphics on the PS4 version. You have a long wait then as this game will put GT7 to shame...What exactly are you waiting for?

This game seems nice for video editing. Tne rest is NFS Shift 3.
Shame PS4 won't get the "nextgen" look until GT7 is out. Hopefully its hardware will still matter then...

I actually think the PS4 images stack up very well compared to the P.C. images. Sadly none of them are like for like. With motion and weather effect being different in most of them.

Looks pretty decent. I hope driving physics deliver decently as well. Could be the racer to play untill GT comes out.

PS: sorry for the offtopic fellows, but I just saw a new Driveclub video few minutes ago on Youtube, with a dynamic lighting that blew my mind and also what seems to be a pretty good looking gameplay - if its possible to judge by video. My point is: I would really love to see that video here, with GS quality.

I'd say the physics in that video where dreadful, Don't expect that from Project cars. I have it on the P.C. and the physics are far more realistic.

Yeah this game looks like shift3. But shift2 had amazing gfx as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WabmAasFJaA

This one has very good reflection, lighting is nice and car models look much sharper too. So it is a good upgrade IMO

That is from the PC. JonZ does not make PS4 videos.

so far no one has seen GT7 so can we put the comparisons to rest till we do see GT7 if and when it is announced, as for Pcars there are still several months to go till release, it is not the final product i just wish people would not treat it like it is, this talk of "downgrading or downgraded" is just stupid as this has been upgraded, it was previously a last gen title but was upgraded to next gen, just how is that a downgrade!

The game now compared to a year ago does seem to be somewhere in between GRID 2, F-1(2013) and NFS Shift as far as graphics on ultra settings. It just needs alot of work on the other stuff to stand out more like "environments". CODEMASTERS to me is doing everything right right now.

Good post. Not as big of a difference as people seem to be bitching about. Wish the pictures would have been taken under the same conditions though.

It's nothing like the games you quote, Think GTR2 mixed with Forza & Gran Turismo...

If your putting this in the arcade racer section along with Shift, Driveclub & NFS your doing it all wrong.

Once released this will firmly be a simulation racer.
