Project CARS gets patched on XB1

The latest Xbox One patch of Project CARS was finally released in the middle of E3. Here are three analysis videos showing how framerate is affected in the wet and with a certain amount of AI drivers.
Note: Blim's plugin still doesn't handle tearing, so it doesn't show when a frame is not refreshed at 100%.

I recall it being really bad in terms of framedrops pre-patch, right? This looks a lot improved.

Excellent. The game looks great too. Hopefully they keep fixing this game lol. Many devs stop caring about the game and rush it to market

On a wider point. I'm keeping 40 of the staff on pCARS1 for the long term to continue delivering as we have been. pCARS2 early work will start very soon to keep the remaining racing staff occupied.

if they can get a solid 60fps then i might consider this. I dont like when the framerate`s all over the place.

In my opinion, games should not be released when they have such major issues. Keep them cooking until they are done. What we don't see is that down the line, when the generation is done and you want to play this game on a new Xbox, and you can no longer get the updates - you'll be left with the game as it was released, with all its problems.

They rushed it to the market. That's why they have to keep releasing patches to obtain a solid framerate, get rid off major bugs, etc...
Rushed? It took them 4 years with quite a number of delays lol
