Here is our final batch of videos of Project CARS before a while, so we have something new to show you guys. This time, we focused on the passing of time and the dynamic weather system which we accelerated 240 times to show what the game was capable of. We chose two rather different tracks, the first one being highly detailed while the second proposes a barer look, due to its official nature. Similar footage has already been put up on YouTube but we thought it'd be interesting to do it ourselves. Framerate was capped at 30 fps for the purpose of the videos, but we're not very happy with the result as it doesn't seem as smooth as it should be - although Fraps indicated a steady 30 fps framerate but the frame pacing issues are due to the capture limiter itself unfortunately. That being said, the quality is still good enough to see what Slightly Mad Studios has achieved.
@asdfg: By comfortable, I meant for my eyes not in the sense that horror games should be comfortable and less scary. I loved how scary/jumpy it was. It would have been just as scary in 3rd personview. (57 minutes ago)
Could you even rent time on a machine like that though? I bet like 75% of the people who "rode" the attraction would puke :D (4 Hours ago)
I'm pretty sure that rig costs a lot more than that :P (4 Hours ago)
@MrWhite: Very scary. What if you accidentally drop your $1000 headset? (4 Hours ago)
