This is my Ryse on PS4. The gameplay might "only" be good and not utterly fantastic, but I want to play it heavily also because of the looks - love the setting and visuals. Day one for me.

I initially felt that way, but the more game play clips I have seen the more I get turned off by it. Bargain bin buy for me.
Letterboxing is annoying. I don't understand why games wannabe movies, it's different, it's better and less restrictive medium than film. I hate that, no one ever said he want to write books to be like movies.
the recent gameplay i've seen of this has pretty much put my mind at rest. it looks great. got one of the meatiest shotguns i've seen in a game. love the look of it. it might not be doing anything particularly new beyond some inventive weaponry. but the atmosphere and setting and characters are awesome and the gameplay looks nice and solid. pre-ordered.
This is my fav game for next year. The gfx, atmosphere is the biggest factor for sure. I am just little worried about fps or input lag, and feel it is going to be like Killzone2 for some reason. Black bars is not a problem for me. I would say this is most impressive looking next gen game. Melee looks awesome as well. I just hope they have some variety. This game is getting lot of hate and doubts about MP or co-op just is inviting for more criticizing already. For me it is not a big deal just hope other things fall in place.
