is this the long awaited racingSIM for the Xbox 360?

I think if it'll be like the pc games from simbin = Yes

Excellent. If it's anything like the PC offerings, then move over Forza. If only microsoft would allow to use the logitech steering wheels...

If they can bring the simulation they produced on PC over to the 360, then it's bye bye Forza.

Problem is, without a steering wheel it's bloody horrible!

Graphically it looks ok, my gripe was how bland and clinical it looked on PC; we've been spoilt rotten by Grid.

What it needs is a bit of personality to go with the sim mechanics, which happen to be very good.

So basically this is what's happened to GTR2.

If it's anything like the GTR PC games, this will be by far the best racing simulator on consoles.

360 racing sim here we go! now i have another reason to buy the 360 racing wheel (force feedback+rumble = awesomeness)

There is a thing such as too much sim.
And the whole concept of sim = better is inaccurate imo.
Lets hope this strikes a nice balance between fun and sim :)

Everybody rejoice. This game is eagerly awaited.. Hopefully we'll see more to this at E3. :D

Untill I tried the Logitech steering wheel for the Xbox 360 recently I would have bought it for sure. But the wheel was crap, the force feedback didn't feel very convincing so I ditched it, well lets see how it turns out.

Yes, we all tired of that bullshi_t "autosimulators" like Forza or GranTourismo!
We need the realistic hardcore autosims - Ferrari Challange, GTR or this RACE on X360, PS3
sorry for my poor english..

Are you kidding me?

This game won't even be closed to Forza in customization and multiplayer experience.

Forza is a way better simulator then Gran Turismo in any respect. Forza also uses the most advanced tire model in a video game.

This has a lot of promise, Simbin make the best racing games ever in my opinion. If it's anything like GTR then it's a winner.

can't wait...although I still havent got anywhere close to finishing forza 2.

Maybe not. But frankly, who cares. All I want is a experience like GTR2 on my X360.

GTR games on the PC are miles ahead on any of the major racers on ps3 and Xbox when it comes to simulation. Forza2 and as it seems GT5 dissapoints alot of people. Forza mainly in the graphics department, and GT5 in the lack of simulation feel. If Race Pro can stick right in the middle there, then SimBin will have a clear winner on their hands. Great graphics and great simulation. Such a small to-do list, yet so hard to get right...

Hopefully Atari will have more to show us at E3 next week.

Have you even played GT5 lately? Sega Rally feels more like a simulator then GT5.

lol

I see you have never played GT5. I play both (F2 & GT5) and in GT5 when you drive without driving aids and turn off ABS it is harder and mora realistic to drive than in Forza2 (Forza have only better colisions).
Sega Rally simulation? If Sega Rally is simulation for you... hmm... I see how much you know about simulators. I never seen someone drive like that in rallys in real live. Have you ever played Richard Burns Rally?
In GT5 even graphic can simulate reality. Graphic in Forza2 can... simulate Xbox1:P
