Red Ninja: 32 images

Red Ninja: 32 images

For this incredibly boring week end anything is good enough for a news. These 32 images of the certainly bad looking Red Ninja: End of Honor won't prove me wrong. Hopefully this is the PS2 version...

Yeah, seriously. I had always thought that one developed for the XBox in order to make great games, or at least ones that were cutting edge. You make games on the Playstation 2 to make money (don't believe and bs people give you about "reaching the widest audience" because unless those people haven't heard of Halo, Project Gotham Racing, Dead or Alive 3, Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell, etc., they're idiots). You make games on the Gamecube possibly to target a special audience, but XBox games are meant to be cutting edge, period. It is easy to program for, powerful, boasts hard drive caching capabilities, and a smooth online asset.

Games like Red Ninja: End of Honor really make me question why some people even try to develop games in the first place. I will be watching out for the game, however, why? Because the only way there is any sense for this game to come out on the XBox in the face of Ninja Gaiden, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, or even the Tenchu: Return from Darkness port, is for this game to have the most kick-ass gameplay ever.

If the game ends up sucking in that department as well...well, then, I'll keep in mind never to play another game by the same developer.

About the game

MrWhite It's performance related. Also, people underestimate the point of correct calibration. Having the 3d just off slightly for your eyes can cause bad eye strain, thus leading to nausea. (51 minutes ago)

MrWhite I think motion sickness can be alleviated in future to the point where it won't be that much of a deal breaker. I noticed playing on Pro is a hell of a lot more comfortable than the standard PS4. (52 minutes ago)

MrWhite And that's entirely possible. I can imagine RE8 being that way. Having to physically aim down iron sights to get a headshot on a zom would be immense, but scary as fuck. (54 minutes ago)

MrWhite As good as RE7 was in VR, it could have been even better if they had a control scheme for it that allowed for free hand movement interaction. (55 minutes ago)

MrWhite Capcom have since said they are setting up a team to focus more on VR stuff, which is promising. (55 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i'd love for the game to have a combat system as deep as DMC3 or even GOW. with a traversal system that actually uses some skill to land jumps and move around. (56 minutes ago)

KORNdog @Sdarts: i did. i didn't like it. traversal become even more tedious having to grapple gun everywhere due to wide streets and combat still had dudes taking turns to kill you. (58 minutes ago)
