Resident Evil 5 PC gets exclusives costumes

As we find out in those first images published by the folks at Siliconera, Capcom has prepared a cosmetic surprise for future buyers of the PC version of Resident Evil 5. For Chris Redfield, a nice Mad Max total-look. For his teammate, a sexy combo of secretary suit and glasses that should remind you of a certain Dead Rising character...

I think the most interesting thing I've seen is the stereoscopic stuff they're doing in the PC version. It's a bummer that it only works with nvidia cards. I'd totally check that out.

yea, but dont u need a 120hz monitor and a pair of powered glasses?
Bit too much cost involved to try it. Maybe in a few years when the tech has matured and im willing to drop another few hundred on a new monitor.

Do ya? I haven't really looked much into it to be honest. It uses shutter glasses? That's actually some oldschool tech.

Why Capcom dont release some costumes for the console versions?

I mean it could add some replayability,I already did everything the game has to offer I need some more incentive to keep playing, like a Baywatch costume for Sheva or something.

Then you have a lot of money. You need a 120 Hz monitor and shutter eye glasses: 179 euro's for the glasses and about 250 euro's for a cheap 120 Hz monitor. And then ofcourse the game. And a powerfull graphics card, I almost forgot that.

The word exclusive means nothing anymore. You buy a game with "Only on PS3 (or Xbox 360)" stamped on the cover only to see it's coming to the other console a few months later. That said, I'm expecting some upcoming RE5 DLC announcements.

No, it uses the red/blue tech and both images are rendered in the same frame. I tried it with Left 4 Dead and WoW. It's not that great (but my glasses might be crap too).

No it doesn't. It uses 3D vision by nVidia.
