Here are finally the scans (horrible as they are) of Resident Evil 5 from the latest Famitsu. The quality is really really bad, but it's better than nothing while waiting for the full trailer next week :)

nope they said it's not going to be released till 2009... :-(

The news comes straight from TeamXbox.com, who says that "In the latest issue of japanese magazine Famitsu, Capcom's producer Jun Takeuchi has revealed that Resident Evil 5 won't be ready next year. Since 2010 would be too late for the game to launch, they expect to ship the fifth installment in the Resident Evil series sometime in 2009."

I hope they just would go back to their roots with zombies, i don't mind makin'em faster if that's the case with heading towards more human foes.

I don't think they are gonna wait til 2009. They have so much time on there hands. If they say 2009 then it should be TBA, so I still think it is coming out next year.

I don't mind an early 2009 release date at all. I think it'll be worth the wait if RE4 is any indication.

Could be, looks about the right age if RE5 is set 10 years after the original resident evil.

Apparently they are trying for early 2009 but it could slip closer to 2010 if they have any development problems!

Gameplay & camera seem very similiar to RE4 from the pictures. RE5 is not coming till March 2008

Looks like they gave Jill a ponytail. I heard she will actually be a big gameplay component... Can't wait!

2009 SERIOUSLY!!

Well it will be ground-breaking just like RES 4 when it was released.. so i'm dissapointed.. but at least we know it will be good.. and its something to look forward to o giess//
