Resonance of Fate localized

Resonance of Fate localized

Sega sent us these images of the French version of Resonance of Fate/End Of Eternity. This version, and I guess all other versions, will be completely subtitled, and the voices will be either in English or Japanese, as you prefer.

So, it's confirmed both English as Japanese voice acting for the PS3 & Xbox 360 version?

If true, a must buy!

But the game uses a turn-based battle system?

Kinda like FFXIII? You can walk around but when you want to attack, it's all with menu's and stuff?

January for Japan. March for US. Not sure about Europe.

I like the gritty, grounded-in-reality environments shown here--- especially environments that seem like they could actually exist in the real world. The spattering of fantastical elements like the huge grinding gears in the first screenshot is a nice touch. The scene with the characters sitting on the sofa is filled with small details and decent texture work. Needless to say I'm pretty interested in Resonance of Fate and I hope it turns out to be a good, polished game.

Its coverage for promising/niche games like this (games with little coverage elsewhere in the press) that makes Gamersyde a regular visit for me...

GriftGFX The 360 was great though.. but I even if Spencer is comparing XB1's performance to the 360's... that seems like yuge spin when you compare it to the PS4. (2 Hours ago)

Moonwalker @MikeManiac61: Hold on, no memorable games? Halo 3, Reach and 4?,Gears 1-3? Forza Motorsport and Horizon? Lost odyssey? Condemned? Crackdown? Alan Wake? Come on now :) (3 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth the first game reminds me a lot of the souls series. doing dungeons/bosses in different orders, cryptic messages and hard to find areas. (3 Hours ago)

Melmoth Legend of Zelda done, now on to Link to the Past. (3 Hours ago)

    MikeManiac61 @GriftGFX: That's true. I can't remember any memorable IP's from the 360 days lol. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX The success of the 360 had *a lot* to do with it being the best multiplatform console. There may be a diminishing returns thing there though... we'll see. (4 Hours ago)
