THQ's announced that a playable demo of Red Faction: Armageddon will be available on Xbox Live and PSN on May 3. The game is still set for release in North America on May 31, and on June 3 worldwide, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
For the first time players will assume the role of Darius Mason and fight their way through Martian sewers and an oncoming alien infestation. Meanwhile, Darius must clear his name as the colonists have blamed him for unleashing the alien threat that has ravaged the underground cities of Mars.
Players will have at their disposal the Nano Forge as they combat alien invaders with concussive blasts and core-shattering tremblers. Rebuild all that you destroy with the Nano Forge’s incredible Reconstruction ability. Finally, throw entire buildings at your enemies with Red Faction’s signature weapon, the Magnet Gun.
To our PC players, unfortunately, we will not be providing a demo for that platform.
Sometimes the less you know about a character too = more interesting. Like G-Man. He pops up now and again being a creepy bastard. Thats what makes him interesting. (34 minutes ago)
Plus the fact you were messing about with boxes is a good thing, no? Game first, story and characters second is my motto. (36 minutes ago)
@KORNdog: Come on Korn, you know thats a horseshit statement you made. Before Naughty Dog and Bioware with Mass Effect, there was Alyx Vance. She may be a bit dated these days, but back then... (38 minutes ago)
@MrWhite: i guess i missed it. i was too busy running about all over the place throwing boxes around as my mute husk. lol (51 minutes ago)
What's this about Half Life not having decent characters? Seriously? It practically set the bar as far as that went. Alyx, Barney, Eli, G-Man to name a few. (56 minutes ago)

I'm not saying it's impossible that another developer would want to do it and would do it justice. That's just rarely the case when a franchise changes hands. (3 Hours ago)
