I will definitely get it, its much better than Crysis 2 IMO.

Played it around 15 times, still awesome to fool around and approach enemies differently.

I HOPE this one is 720p native and less bugs unlike Crysis 2.

And for 16.99, awesome!

Looks better that Battlefield 3.

Crysis 2 definite had some unfortunate flaws and it pained me to get rid of it eventually. The engine powering it is still the best iv'e seen though. I may even get the game back again and be more accepting of those quibbles

Always wanted to play the first Crysis though so this is great news

Lets hope it isnt as nigh on broken as crysis 2. Preferably with less technical issues and better AI. Didnt think much of it on PC tho aside frim the purty visuals, so i can't see that changing on consoles. Graphically looks decent tho.

no urban jungle, but a real jungle. Its a gamble isf this will run better or even worse than Crysis 2 on consoles. Love the visuals and design, still tops crap like killzones and ModernBattleWarShooterFields.

You did actually complete Crysis 1 several times right? You would know that it was not that great as a game what was great was the PC version with its Dx10 ish effects and ram gobbling textures that easily ate up over 540MB system ram and depending... 520MB to 6X0MB of graphics card ram.

Its about time, really CryTek has no choice but to make both Crysis 1 and Warhead for the game consoles as a way of promoting Crysis 2 and the series in general, specially since they spent all those years developing CE3, these games should be made using that updated engine and IMHO they should have been put on disc medium but DLC... come on thats a bit much, then again I understand that the pirates and the game lenders/renters really eat up the profits of their potential income.

They better have the female suit voice option, I just did not like some "gruff dude bro with way too much testosterone in this throat" as a suit voice.

Whats funny is that two weeks ago I set up another hard drive in my computer with Windows XP SP3 mainly to play older games much more efficiently (less emulation and bloatware) but to also to play Crysis 1 in Dx9 very high quality mode and complete it on hard and Delta again to see what and if its still broken there(on Delta the AI is completely glitched and broken). btw I have a toaster AMD Athlon 6400+ X2, 2GB DDR2 and GeForce GTS 250 1GB all stock clocks.

What is the behind it ? If they wanted to do they should have done before. They should do it for PC with better optimization and DX11 as well

gonna try it, c2 was great game and loved playing it on my ps3, only thing wish they tightened up was the ai, other than that loved the game from start to end

I loved the game, and I didnt play it before of the visuals, but because of the gameplay style.
Freedom to approach situations differently, real-time weapon customization, sci-fi approach...etc.

Also, I hope this game is 720p native on consoles unlike Crysis 2, something that bothered me alot.

I'm getting this, but it's not 1200 MS points, it's 1600 MS points.
I want to play this on my big ass plasma 3D TV. Crysis is 1 of my favourite shooters of all time.

This should have come first they are re doing it on cryengine3. So this is going tobe 40$ ?

Looks a bit better than just 'decent' in my opinion. Can't really name any better looking console games.

They said Cryengine2 is not possible so they made Cryengine3 for console with capabilities to move to next gen for PS4, 720. So may be it is the newer engine or some mod with low details and textures and various other smokes and mirrors. Crysis was horribly optimized game on even fast PC.

well you better believe it buddy boy, 360 CAN do 1080, with the help of the right coding devs i.e crytek.

Yeah i just doubt that it can do 1080p, AA, those gfx, physics, ai and gameplay all at once.

Hmmm, I have only played the game on the PC, and it is very impressive indeed. What is shown in the screens is impressive, looks like crysis on medium and high mix of settings... I played something like that on my old PC, and ultra on my new rig...I personally think that God of War 3 is more impressive than crysis on medium... U3 and possibly even Gears 3 will top this on consoles I reckon. Certainly these screens don't look massively impressive, but crysis has got some nice scale going on. Anyway, while visuals are an important draw, the gunplay is top notch. A better game than the sequel...

It will sub HD and same as Crysis2 in fact most setting will be medium or low. It looks good with low details too but the game still was never smooth. For Crysis2 they did gret without the DX11 add on it runs smooth as butter. I think they are just try to make some money with this as they have nothing to losse not even production of retail games with disks and all those stuff as it is only downloadable.
