The problem with Trackmania is that it's one of those games you always want to buy but not own :).

Err?
You know the games that never get of your wishlist because the concept sounds better than the reality. I finally got around to playing trackmania and it was a bore, but whenever I watch a trailer I want it.

Trackmania was always about editing wacky tracks to me. No editing tracks and I'll just stick with Burnout / Split Second.

I think the fourth screenshot sums up why trackmania is fun. A bunch of cars crashing on the checkpoint sign.

Fixed.
And judging by your next comment, you either A) just wouldn't like this type of game, or you didn't play online on the crazy ass courses.
Looks awesome, I like the nicer looking tracks. That was my only issue with the first game, visual diversity.

The problem with Trackmania is that its one of those games you hear so much hype for but if you are an Arcade/console player you know better and just go back and play the old Ridge Racer, Sanfrancisco Rush, and Sega Racers games.

GriftGFX FFA deathmatch is pretty fun in OW even though it's totally not balanced. Great Tracer practice. (9 Hours ago)

KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (10 Hours ago)

GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (11 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (11 Hours ago)

GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (11 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (11 Hours ago)
