Seven more for Serious Sam

Seven more for Serious Sam

Serious Sam HD has been very quiet since it was announced a bit more than a month ago. Hopefully, we have just received a few new images of the game so enjoy!

Water and DOF looks good. Should be extremely manic!

Impressive. Looks like they've put more effort into this than most SD>HD game conversions.

Has there been any word on how much content is in this? Is it the same as the Xbox version, which is to say first PC release and Second Encounter I think it was called?

Is it wrong that this is my most anticipated 360 game this year? :)

Even today the series name makes me giggle.

Loved this game back in the day, coop was awesome. However if there isn't any new content I probably won't be getting this.

@SimonM7: that's where the big interrogation mark lays. We don't know what levels are gonna be included, first, second encounter, all levels, just a portion? But whatever it is, its probably gonna be worth it.

I'm pretty sure it's just the First Encounter, which is still a good deal of content. This is going to be the best FPS release on the arcade, easily.

I think that title belong to Battlefield 1943, but this game looks hot, I think I need to buy another 1600 point card to stack on my 5000 points to be fully prepared this year.

1943 got a little boring for me after 50 or so matches, and that's coming from someone who's played thousands of hours of Battlefield. It's good, but the lack of variety and content compared to its big brothers sorta kills it for me. Serious Sam won't skimp on content, and as simple and straight forward as the gameplay is, it's a co-op classic. It's all very subjective, but to me, this is about as good as the arcade gets.

It's certainly a good amount of content, but at the same time so was Outrun Online Arcade, yet I couldn't help but feel saddened that I would probably never get the remaining tracks presented in as neat a package.

This is one game that should have stayed quiet.

I'm more saddened by both how ugly it is and the fact that there's friggin slowdown in a dreamcast port. The PC version scales to HD much better.. I regret buying the XBLA game.

Plenty enough people understand Serious Sam's awesomeness to warrant this upgrade/port.

It's not a Dreamcast game, it's a chihiro game which is xbox hardware essentially. I haven't had any slowdown personally but I've heard others complain about it too.

I actually own Coast 2 Coast for Xbox which plays fine on the 360, so it's not that I can't play it elsewhere. It's just that a ton more people own the XBLA version and it's very accessible right there on the dashboard the same way Wipeout HD is, making for some quick accessible online action.

Same with this. I'm not bothered about the graphics upgrade really, I just want it on the dashboard ready for online co-op with my friends.

Er, yeah, Chihiro. The slowdown is still pathetic, and quite noticeable. I have a hard time believing that it only happens on some boxes too.
