The realistic backgrounds look totally out of place with the cartoony characters.

It's early.. and I doubt this is the only tile set we'll see. I look forward to seeing what they do with this. I mean, come on.. it's a new arena shooter, skewed heavily towards customization and user content, and aims to support eSports heavily. This could be really cool.. or it could be a gigantic disaster I guess :D
