Sierra Spring Break still, and now it's time to talk about 50 Cent II: Blood in the Sand. There a galery of images of course, but I can also share my first impressions with you since I attended a gameplay presentation of the game. Besides the 50 Cent character that you're free to like or hate, I was quite impressed by the gameplay, a cool mix of Gears of War's hide'n pop action style and The Club totally arcade-ish scoring system. It looked really solid and surprising. never judge a game on its cover ! Update: Added the trailer, so ridiculous and over the top it's awesome.
Things I would identify as typically "Resident Evil", but I think most are reviewing this game on its own merits and not based on how it makes them feel about the franchise. (0 minute ago)
i'm just happy there is no more zombie suplexing and rock punching anywhere to be seen. lol (1 minute ago)
@GriftGFX: who said it looks like RE1? i said reviews are saying it's capturing the same vibe. ie. horror. survival. slower paced. a singular location. constant sense of dread, item management etc (4 minutes ago)
If only it had the same quality live action video :D (7 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: Oh that's crystal clear. I do wonder if it means it will stay first person from here on out. It probably will so it will work for VR. (8 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: Maybe in the way it brings back suspense and the locations? (8 minutes ago)
@Moonwalker: It's definitely influenced by this generation of horror games: Outlast, Alien, Amnesia, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that. (8 minutes ago)
