Smash Bros. controls everything

Smash Bros. controls everything

The new week starts on Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Dojo with an exhaustive explanation of the controls, entirely customizable on each of the four controllers. A less boring week of updates confirmed?

Boy, Nintendo couldn't have been lying more when they said that the Wii's going to make gaming more accessable. Guess their definition of revolutionizing gaming is bundling some quirky mini-games with the console and launching a family themed ad campaign.

Menus and Control Options are now mini-games?

I think that Nintendo is going this for for two reasons that are related to each other.

1. While this is a popular game among the casual gamers out there, this is a Nintendo game that enjoys a extremely hardcore following with a pretty active tournament scene around it. I am sure that the game will be set up so the casual gamer will never needs to touch any control options to get there share of enjoyment out of the game.

2. These features are decidedly hardcore, like you have noted. I think they are doing this to show the hardcore gamers out there that they still support them even though they are going after a new market of casual gamers. They could easily take out 90% of all of the new features they are adding and still please the casual gamers, just look at Excite Truck. This game is essentially a love letter to all those hardcore Nintendo fans that have felt left out.

What it comes right down to is, as long as the features they are adding doesn't get in the way of the fun it is a good thing.

I am going to use the GameCube controler or even the Wii classic controler, the Wiimote and nunchock is not the control for me its Just too Much.......

I used my $25 TRU gift card(from galaxy) and bought a classic controller, but now I'm thinking, I won't have rumble... I kind of hate the classic controller. A good Third-party gamecube controller(if that exist) is really the way to go.. but I'll be using it day 1 this game is out.

About the game

What's up?

GriftGFX A lot of them do.. but sometimes difficulty modes are poorly designed too. But that's nothing new. People have been phoning in hard and easy modes for decades. (23 minutes ago)

alimokrane Why can't the AAA games have hard modes like those games, that's what's annoying... (25 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane @GriftGFX: Nioh and Neir (not yet). They are on my list. I played Dark Souls 1, I played and that's hard for sure. But those games are very few.... we need more! (26 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Also there are plenty of non-FPS multiplayer games. But maybe if you're looking for a challenge you should be more open to stepping outside your comfort zone. (27 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Have you played Nioh, Dark Souls 3, and Nier Automata? (28 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
    alimokrane etc.... (33 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane @GriftGFX: The issue with what you suggest is they are FPS games and or MP, not my cup of tea. I am talking about SP games: adventure/action/horror. Where are the hard Ninja Gaidens, Dragon Quests (34 minutes ago)
