Poor game, I remember it going completley off the radar after that horrible beta test.

This is still coming out...lol, maybe the game falling off the face of the earth for so long has resulted in a better game?

They announced this way too early. Feels like it has been around forever but always looked quite mediocre.

That's what I'm hoping. I like the idea of the campaign, and I like the setting especially, as I have been to Dubai twice, and just like playing other cities that I have actually lived in, like Las Vegas (Fallout: New Vegas, Duke Nukem Forever. etc.), and New York (Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Modern Warfare 3, et al) as post disaster wastelands, it would be interesting to see the Dubai reclaimed by the desert. I just hope they can pull their act together and actually churn a pretty good game experience out of it though. And hopefully this black out period they have been under for a while, is a sign of good things to come.

wow that screen looks bad, show us the sand tech, that actually looked good.

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: it's a shame though. 360 had a lot of these games but they are all gone now. I guess they don't only not sell on Japan, neither in the West too. (40 minutes ago)

KORNdog @Moonwalker: unless he takes a few truck loads of cash with him...no. (1 Hour ago)

Moonwalker I wonder if Phil Spencer's visit to Japan is going to change anything. (2 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker However of all recent Japanese games, I'd say Nier would actually sell decently on it. Of course not in Japan but I bet quite a few people in the West would buy it. I would. (2 Hours ago)

Moonwalker @asdfg: Not necessarily talking about here only but in general. I think we all know that most Japanese games sadly don't sell on Xbox. (2 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @nostradamus: Oh it sure is fun. Combat feels really nice, especially when you get to do the executions. The thing is, there is a shit load of combat and it can get repetitive. How much does it cost? (2 Hours ago)
