Commader Shephard fights Sauron in this game? Talk about unexpected...

Anyway, pretty cool trailer actually, although have no clue what the gameplay is going to be like. Seems to have a pretty dark, gritty, realistic tone. Let's hope they at least try something different with this one, rather than just copying you know who....I would love to see a game like this with realistic ballistics, and one shot kills. Maybe throw in some moral dilemmas for good measure....

That was a really well made trailer. I hope this gets released. It has been under development for a long time.

You don't know what it's about? There have been tons of previews of it before it went off the radar a year ago.

Now JOURNEY is that sand game, too!

That trailer was awesome though, hope the game's tone is disturbing rather than male power fantasy.

Might be interesting but the presence of the Desert Eagle pisses me off, when are moviemakers and game devs going to learn that NOBODY IN THE REAL WORLD FUCKING USES IT.

Can't these game developers come up with something else OTHER THAN MORE MILITARY SHOOTERS?? wtf?

Oh and the Commader Shephard thing, I believe there are several articles that focus on how the main character in a shooter game are a stereotypical white male, ex/military, shaven head clones designed to look like "cool" empty shells that the general gaming audience can "identify" with or wannabe like despite being nowhere close to the physical fitness or appearance of the character.

Giantbomb says they want to change the modern military shooter like Apocalypse Now and Platoon did to war films.

As far as I remember, this game always nailed the atmosphere every time they gave us something. Hope it's not just the Apocalypse Now atmosphere that is good in this game...

whatever it is, it needs to be different - fps-es are so abundant (I mean ridiculously abundant) they need to start tackling other elements of play in the genre (games on a whole should do this IMO)

About the game

What's up?

droezelke @Moonwalker: Peaky Blinders is really good. It gets better every episode. (34 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: Sounds good. I'll have to start watching it then. Always looking for good new shows. I watched the first episode of Peaky Blinders too, not sure yet tho. (53 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Lockpicking and sneaking into these homes could have been added, but i think that would be too much of a hassle. This is ok. Certainly better than Elder Scrolls, where walls always seem to have eyes (55 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @GriftGFX: Haha yes it is absolutely hilarious. Geralt walks in, they are ok with this, and then he loots all their stuff and they are...ok with it. :) (56 minutes ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke Monster wants love stretched out over a whole season, daddy wants to repent, ... (2 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @Sdarts: I like it. But there is little psychological drama in it. They make it seem like it has this deep drama in it, but it's all as simple as can be (3 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts I know Penny Dreadful is not for everyone, specially those who can't stand psychological dramas/thrillers. But it's quality is simply superb for those who do! (8 Hours ago)
