Activision released this trailer of Spider-Man : Web of Shadows for the Comic Con in San Diego. Looks like there is an interesting guest character!

hmm looks considerably better than the trailer we had ages ago, but the combat looks rather samey with the addition of changing. Wonder if Wolverine is playable.

The graphics are not up to date. Those 4 polygon buildings are ugly as hell. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a spiderman game based in Liberty City from GTA IV?

I would prefer one more like the Crackdown city.
No pop-up. Better sound design. More comic feel.

Finally, Wolverine and Spidey in a game together. They are two of my favorite comic book characters. This should be fun, even if the combat is as revolutionary as the developers are trying to make it.

Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2...play them and enjoy them.

This game just landed on my radar.

The trailers have made this game look great so far, but the actual gameplay footage made the combat seem rather boring and it had some very wonky animation, although it could have just been a bad player. I'll be paying attention to this, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I'm not particularly happy with *another* Venom storyline either. The whole thing seems like a poor attempt to appeal to 13 year olds.. But I guess that's what they're going for.

There are so many better Spider-man characters/stories they could make a game around :(

The best thing for them to do right now is play it safe because of the Spiderman 3 fiasco.
