Some players might not have noticed that, but your way to play the demo of Splinter Cell: Conviction is up to you. Whether it is more action or pure stealth, you decide. That's why Ubisoft has released two videos showing two different ways to broach the mission.

I think cutscenes are your typical Ubisoft material (very cheap). Funny thing no one noticed this kind of stuff with titles like Assassin's Creed, but somehow I've seen this mentioned a few times about this game.
i would understand though if some SC fans arent happy as it doesnt seem as "hardcore" as the previous editions
If by great you mean "mostly passable," then I'd agree.

if you want a action packed game , then get modern warfare 2 or badcompany 2.
stealth games are art . ubi has dumbed and catered conviction down to the general masses , which isnt good .
1 or 2 stealth games are released every couple of years , they have ruined the best for the fans.
maybe 15-20 action games are released every year , conviction is now added to that list . its a sad day.

And by the way, Conviction plays nothing like MW2 or Battlefield. That's a ridiculous comment
Still, I'm digging the demo. What some call 'dumbed down', I call streamlined.
*waits for someone to counterattack with "main-streamlined" woven somewhere in his/her response* ;)
Though I can see where they are coming from, I prefer this middleground Ubi have chosen now.
The visuals are fantastic, as I've always said. But, the aliasing on objects more than 20 feet away is absolutely horrible. Especially noticable on characters in direct light. It's a real shame. Also, the animations are extremely lacking. I can't believe how dated they look for the most part. Unbelievable.
Camera angles are really troublesome as well, and AI needs some real work.
Mark and execute is every bit as easy as you would expect. You run out of it eventually which doesn't really make sense, but whatever.
Dunno why you had problems with camera angles
Also I'm aware I don't have to use it. I just don't get EARNING the function to shoot multiple enemies. Seems like a cheap way to implement a new mechanic.
I dunno, your complaints are making you sound like some kind of scorned ex-fan.
At 2:00 min can't believe he sneaks past that guy there and he got not mention,he must be sleep walking,
same at 2:40 when he walks into that hall ! Nobody mentions him....:(
I know it's a game...but since stealth is part of it thats just lame !
Besides that...game looks good, but those moment ruin it for me !
