A little too much bloom, but otherwise I'm still looking forward to a demo

50-50, Blur or Split/Second?

We'll just have to wait and see.

Looks really fun, but an absolute jag-fest. ugh!

(blames PS2 for making jaggies acceptable...)

;o)

Looks sooo good. The makers of Pure huh? Guess we are in for a treat then...

awesome. This is what Burnout should of evolved into.

Yea, count me in! I love the racing genre and whenever a new racing title comes out I naturally wanna get it, simply because it means more racing. But soon after, I realize it's just that—more racing.

It's games like SPLIT SECOND that remind me of why I fell in love with racing games in the 1st place (no pun). The sheer thrill and unpredictability of this game, to me, makes it rise above a lot of the other racing titles out there. And this is even without a demo!

Wow, explosions and post processing are incredible! I just hope said explosions aren't too canned. This is more appealing to me than Blur, and I'm a huge PGR fan...

This game looks just plain silly to me. Looks like it will be another Full Auto or Flatout type game, fun for an hour or two and then just boring. But I'll admit the whole car combat thing never really did much for me anyhow. I always hated Twisted Metal games so it might just not be my genre.

I just don't see anything here that looks like it's gonna take the whole car combat concept to a new level or anything. I just think regular racing is far more fun and rewarding than shooting or blowing your way up to first place. meh...

Split Second over Blur for sure.

Watching this game in action it's just so cool, how explosive and dynamic races can get in this game.

Major factor in if I buy this. Very interested, but split screen is a must.

well the game looks cool, no question. But it looks also like that your only chance of winning a race is just pure luck.

Imagine playing this game online.....

You don't know how the mechanics work. A little more faith, yeah?

About the game

  • Melmoth
Melmoth more expensive than the PS4 and XB1 introduction price. (30 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth dang nintendo prices here. Switch is (converted to USD) 432 here, which is something like 60% more expensive than in japan. (36 minutes ago)

  • AndreasZ94
AndreasZ94 @KORNdog: I hated Syndicate's combat system. Unity's was so sluggish as well. I hope its fluid like AC3 and 4 but more deep and challenging (1 Hour ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite It's performance related. Also, people underestimate the point of correct calibration. Having the 3d just off slightly for your eyes can cause bad eye strain, thus leading to nausea. (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite I think motion sickness can be alleviated in future to the point where it won't be that much of a deal breaker. I noticed playing on Pro is a hell of a lot more comfortable than the standard PS4. (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite And that's entirely possible. I can imagine RE8 being that way. Having to physically aim down iron sights to get a headshot on a zom would be immense, but scary as fuck. (3 Hours ago)
