Images Xbox 360 PS3

Black Rock released these new tiny screenshots of Split/Second. You will probably get a kind of deja vu feeling since they seem to show the same environment we have seen since the game was first announced. Hopefully they will present us with some new tracks in the very near future.

The game looks very "meh" to me. Looks like another arcade racer with a cute theme that will grow old fast, not unlike flatout or full auto.

But I'm also usually not a huge fan of arcade racers and didn't like Burnout paradise much at all.

How is it gonna work anyway? Every time I race on the track the same things are gonna happen? Or there are player triggered traps kinda like you do with the cops in NFS most wanted? Either way, unless I'm missing something, it's gonna get old really soon.
