EA sent us the following eight images from SSX On Tour, which will be relesed in europe next week. Sure looks good, and SSX3 had it all - On Tour is a must buy for me. I guess we've lost all hope for an Xbox 360 version, though.
Looks crap. I dont understand why are some games looking so bad. Amped, this, Tony Hawk, Gun, they all look like Xbox games. Who is going to buy a game for X360 that looks like a game from last generation ?

still doesn't look very great. and why can't anyone make a skiing/snowboarding game that looks and plays remotely like real skiing? I reckon that somehow, waverace-like controls would be very fitting for a skiing game.
I just got this game, lookin forward to busting it open later today. Loved SSX3, look been excited about this game--where's the xbox live support though EA?
hoshi: well if you're looking for a sim experience you definitly won't find it here..but this game is pretty fun--it's very off the wall and not realistic, but it's always been a lot of FUN..and fun's important too right?
It also looks pretty much nothing like this direct from frame buffer--just got done checking out the game, graphics are nice, but not so crisp..these are obviously bullshots, there's quite a bit of aliasing..but so far I'm enjoying it. I sort of wish there weren't so many of the shred events though, they sort of pale in comparison to the real events.
I don't know how I feel about the control changes yet, I need to get back into the whole SSX thing first..The Skiing seems interesting though I haven't used it much yet..made a snowboarder first.
MoeSizlak: Yeah, it definitly recieved some sort of makeover, but I don't know if I would call it an upgrade. The one thing that really stands out about it visually is the menus, the interfaces are all extremely well designed and animated, very very slick stuff..the intro movies hillarious--but it does remind me of other EXTREEEEME sports games a bit..
They've tweaked the controls quite a bit from SSX3 too--for the better I suppose, it's been a while since I put down SSX3 so it's hard to compare.
Overall it's enjoyable so far--I'm really dissapointed by the lack of xbox live support for this title though.
