This game has some awesome trailers. The stark difference between trailers and gameplay is so disappointing though.

No, besides the chrashes and low server performance Alpha 2.0 is already really amazing. I have never played something like that. This will be by far the most innovative AAA game ever made. Which is only possible without a publisher.

In UHD it even looks a lot better than STAR WARS: Battlefront.

There isnt much difference at all - remembering its actually still being developed and only a tiny slither of alpha is available, its made some hellish progress and its going in the right direction. Lets hope they continue with this level of progress.

I was talking about how polished it looks. That music, that camera work, (almost)zero aliasing, very high quality moblur. Everything in that trailer works to hide its flaws, and it works perfectly.

When you are playing the game it's a different case (i know, I've played it). That's why i am saying there is a huge gap between what you see in the trailer and what you see when you are playing the game.

Alpha 2.0 has very high quality motion blur.
Here is a proof http://abload.de/img/starcitizen_2015_12_052s81.pn...

I use r_AntialiasingMode 2 and 3 in the own created user.cfg and the aliasing is very little to zero at UHD.

Overall, awesome and very ambitious.

At the moment, there is a big drop off in quality between the base area and the rest of the landscape. Hopefully they get that sorted.

looking phenomenal. They've put a considerable amount of detail in the game. And strangely enough the attention to detail seems to be on their minds consistently with every new video. Leading up to the very release of the game i'm sure. But I wonder what's in store for the story content of this game. They put so much effort into this i wonder about everything else. hope it's good.
