Capcom surprised everyone by annoucing Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, the sequel to the Xbox mecha game famous for its highly complex controller. So here we are now, with no controller at all, and with a game developer by From Software.

What? This is going to be a kinect title? Sweet!!!!

It makes sense: head-tracking to look at controls, use hands to operate controls, should be rather intuitive if they get it right.

That's Christmas sorted (if it's out by then...)

...without the controller i don't know how exciting this feels. The original was cool in it's own right (well, that one time i managed to walk a few steps without tipping over was really cool anyway) but the controller just did SO much for the experience :P

oh hell, I WAAAANT THAT! I love Battletech, as boardgame aswell as the mechwarrior games, I loved Chromehounds. I have no 360 anymore :(

I have more of one SB & SBLoC of XBOX and this title is a hardcore pure that need Kinect.
If make the same inmersion ingame of SB, the Kinect win the battle in japan truely.

    rayy The bad thing about gamepads is that they need a bunch of add ons on top to be able to make it work with FPS and that just makes K/M controller suffer the consequence. (1 minute ago)

    GriftGFX @Sdarts: Yeah... but some games CHOKE on high poling rates for some reason. I tried Crytek's "Warface," and it has the appearance of negative acceleration at anything above 125hz. Simply terrible! (2 minutes ago)
